Hi Paul,

No problem, the Dean of the school's given the approval so let us know what
you guys need and when you're doing it. It may be worth getting the
computing club (CASSA) involved to help run/supervise the event as well in
case I'm unable to be there.

We had a quick chat with William at our plug.org.au<http://plug.org.au>
committee meeting, about having an event at ECU.

We would like to get a cross pollination event going with a short talk and
some general hacking / social discussion about our AV gear with the
students.
If people want to pop by too see the gear that's great, if they want to
stay and hack on it even better.

PLUG has bunch of experience running events such as plug.org.au<

http://linux.conf.au> govhack port80.asn.au<http://port80.asn.au> and others
Our AV team has a bunch of hardware and open source software which they
have created a solution for Video recording and streaming.

I'm sure I could get the plug to provide some food and drinks for the event.
