Hi all,
I'm going to try and pick these computers up on Monday -
apparently there are two.
Box 1 is in a small desktop case, Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.80GHz,
with 500 MB RAM, 80 GB HDD, and a 100 mbit ehternet card (on board),
plus on board audio, and on board USB, and DVD drive, all freshly
installed. Patrick Coleman potentially has a spare firewire card
from the left over Computer Angles equipment that he and I sorted
through about 2 months ago - I hope to get my hands on that over the
weekend; if not, then we're going begging for more of them (or I
need to order some for US$10 each + P&P). Was considering a
US$35 gigabit 8 port switch too... hmm... but not if its a hassle
shipping via 3rd parties again. And this would probably have to come
from my/our pocket this time, and not PLUGs. We need to get proof of
concept working (and then put together a grant request for LA.

Next week, Tuesday, let's get to UCC for just after 5pm - when
parking stops being restricted! Nick, are you able to grab
everything from Artifactory before hand?
