what I can surmise it's just their top end consumer bits shoved
into a pro case. The HV20 / HV30 / HV40 outperforms it. My
preferences is still those if we can find availability. I'm sure
the HVR-HD1000P will still be much better than the cameras we
currently have, but no use paying more for it than the HVx0
models.
Fair enough on this model; but since we're now looking at paying
around $930 per camera, is there anything else within $300 or so
that may be better?
Anyone heard of www.awooza.com? The HV40 is listed there for $930
each, otherwise a few other online resellers claim to have it for
around $1050/$1085 or so.
Fair enough.
So if we push on with these two Cameras, we can also get the mixer
(StoreDJ as Euan suggests) and a bunch of stuff from Amazon (I'm
keen on the XLR snake to make set up easier).
I'll talk to people tonight at 7:30pm. mumble.plug.org.au.
