appoint a Senior Systems Administrator . This employer can offer the

As a senior member of the Servers Team, you will be responsible for
analysis, design, development, maintenance and integration of server
platforms and applications based on the Linux environment. You will have
a role in providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues and to other
members of the Server Team.

 

Key responsibilities

·         Provide leadership and guidance toother team members and
colleagues outside of the servers team.

·         Analyse, research, design, document, implement and support
solutions based on the Linux platform.

·         Develop and establish standards, processes and other quality
assurance measures,

·         Make recommendations to IS management on strategic issues
concerning the future design and management of the server platforms and
applications.

·         work effectively with a range of internal and external
stakeholders.

 

Key requirements.

·         Demonstrated and extensive technical knowledge of the Linux
platform, ideally in an enterprise context.

·         Extensive knowledge and understanding of implementation of the
Linux platform and major applications in a virtualised environment.

·         Proven ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as
part of a team providing a high level and responsive service to customers

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal
and written.
