Agreed. You're looking at several thousand dollars in up-front capital most of
which will go on printing and distribution costs. It will likely take a year
or more for you to even break even. If you're serious about this and before you
outlay any money try an offline market research. Go visit 20 or so (t
he more the better) newsagents and ask them how well Unix based magazines sell.
If they're only selling 1 or 2 per month then you're going to have a hard
time. Creating a market isn't impossible, it just requires lotsa money, time
and hard work.
