plug RPM's help!

Hi All,
I am trying to install the KDE desktop using the RPM's on RH4.2

However when I try the command:    rpm -i kdesupport-Beta4-1.i386.rpm
I get the following message:

failed dependencies
    /bin/sh is needed by kdesupport-Beta4-1
    /qt >= 1.31 ls

I also get similar messages when trying to install other KDE RPM's
Can someone please tell me what's going on?
