Count me in on this one.
Things that we MAY need for testing are:
10baseT hub and cables
Coax cables, T peices, terminators
"micro PABX" (optional)
I remember seeing a device in the "Black Box Catalog" which
accepts two phone lines and acts as a small isolated PABX. Useful for
testing modems. Either this or a couple of "UWA only" lines so we
can create a phony ISP arrangement.
Installation CD-ROMs
RedHat (5.1)
Debian (whatever the latest release is)
Slakware (just so some people don't feel left out)
Screwdrivers
(an engineer with a screwdriver should be considered dangerous :-)
Standard "21-piece" set
"Jewellers" flat and Phillips head (I have a set of each)
Plenty of 3 & 4 mm screws (-:
Cable ties
