The default key binding suck (IMO). Below is my .xpilotrc - notice that
I have the most important keys assigned to d,f,j,k,space and I can fly
around and refuel/shot at the same time - Think vi. If you cant 10
finger type then xpilot is going to take some time to get good at. 

BTW - I got RSI from xpilot when I used a,s for turning instead of d,f.
