It happens automatically here. You should have
/etc/rc.d/init.d/squid
along with the usual clutter of symlinks:
/etc/rc.d/rc0.d/K07squid
/etc/rc.d/rc1.d/K07squid
/etc/rc.d/rc2.d/K07squid
/etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S87squid
/etc/rc.d/rc4.d/S87squid
/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S87squid
/etc/rc.d/rc6.d/K07squid
afaik these should have appeared when you installed it.
