Hello All,

Two questions. 

Is the wiring of a PS2 (BUS) mouse consistent with that of a normal
serial mouse, i.e. do they use the same logic? I have a Genius 'Net
Mouse' at home that comes fitted with a PS2 connector & a PS2 - DB9
adapter. Since I only have serial port I use the adapter. It works fine.
If PS2 & Serial mice are not generally compatible I can only assume that
the 'Net Mouse' has extra circuitry inside to detect what type of port
it is connected to. Can these adapters be purchased?

Does anyone know where I could by a PS2 port for a PC? I recall seeing
such a card a l o n g  time ago. But I haven't found anyone in the Freo
area that sells them.

PS The first question is a compound question!!
