Leaving OS wars aside for now, here's the web-server war report:

Apache grew 15% (223 THOUSAND new Apache sites!) last month, IIS by 11%,
and it's fascinating to see even venerable old NCSA growing by well over
a thousand sites a month.

One wonders how these stats are collected, and in particular, if there
are many Apache intranet servers etc not represented because they
weren't recorded as a "sale." One also wonders what impact IBM's
E-commerce system (bolted firmly onto Apache) will have.
