[plug] HELP!!! Can't connect to the net.

Hi, and thanks for reading this post.

I've now done a complete reinstall of SuSE 6.0, but I am still not able
to connect to my ISP

Here's what happens.

I can now get the modem to dial, I get the ISP to answer and the
terminal window reports the speed of the connection.

Then, SuSE reports that the ppp deamon has aborted the connection. Yet,
all of the lights stay on, on the modem. Like it is in fact connected
and waiting for some sort of command.

Can someone please help me, before I pull my hair out.
