Any Linux hac^Wuser ought to want to squeeze the max from his monitor.
Will xf86setup etc allow setting the exact sync widths and positions?

Trimmimg the retrace times to a minimum will never be entirely automatic,
but if you could adjust them with immediate feedback, it would be nice.
