For slink (2.1):
cat < _EOF_ > /etc/apt/sources.list
deb ftp://llug.sep.bnl.gov/debian stable main contrib non-free
_EOF_

If this doesn't work, upgrade to the latest version of apt (0.3 the last
time I checked). search on www.debian.org if you can't seem to find it
alone.
