[plug] Thanks and farewell

Just before I go (I'd stay if I had more time) I want to say thanks for
the info over the past few months.  

My 486/80, 32Mb linux box is working well now thanks in part to help from
this list (although Star Office just disappears whenever I try anything
much -- I'm ditching it and looking for something else when I get a
chance).

If I get through all the other stuff that's piling up here I'll be back.
