7. TIPS AND TRICKS

 Windows Ping

     Windows 95 and 98 users can use a built in utility to Ping web
     sites. While connected to the Internet via dialup or in a
     networked environment, open a DOS window, and at the DOS
     prompt type "ping" followed by the Internet address you wish
     to check. (For example, "ping www.winfiles.com".) Windows will
     tell you how fast the connection is to the given address.
