[plug] Memory for AlphaPC 164LX Motherboard

I've a friend who's picked up a cheap AlphaPC 164LX motherboard.
Unfortunately he didn't realise that although it takes 72 pin SIMs off the
shelf ram doesn't work in the M/b. 

The question I'd like to know the answer to please is, are there any other
requirements, other than parity, needed for ram to work on this board (
he's found a supply of 72pin parity RAM but he wasn't to know it'll work
ok before he buys it :).
