[plug] Telstra CLI/CID Question

Hello Pluggers

I have achieved my goals of getting mgetty to use cli/cid/cnd info as
intended! yay !

After close (?) examination of the mgetty code it appears that all
telco's in the world (mgetty's world at any rate) transmit cid info
'down the line' to the modem without any white spaces (ie 08 9444 5555
becomes 0894445555).

Question: When using my netcomm smartmodem 56 I receive the caller
number as '08 9444 5555' not '0894445555'. Is this because:

	1) Netcomm display the information in this way.
	2) Telstra format the cli info this way.

Anyone have first hand experience with other country's telco's and the
way that cli/cnd has been implemented in those countries?
