Hi All,

Thanks for the responses on the TELNET problem. I tracked down the
display mode "problem" to one of the start-up scripts
/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit that calls "setsysfont". By commenting it out it
leaves the display mode alone.

Another annoying error occurs during boot-up. The offending section is

Enabling Ipv4 packet forwarding
SIOCADDRT: Invalid argument
Tr0: Apapter initialized & opened
SIOCADDRT: Invalid argument
...

I read the answer somewhere but haven't been able to find it again. A
search of some archived emails suggests adding a default network route
127.0.0.0. Is this correct? (I haven't tried it) If so where is the
"correct" place to put it?

When I get to the console and run netstat it shows 127.0.0.0 as a route.
