[plug] Boot problem

I have had the same problem as David Buddrige (Problems with LILI...) -
with 2 hard disks and Redhat 5.2 when booting off a hard disk LI is shown
then it hangs.  My very temporary solution (I knew no other fix at the time
anyway) was to just boot linux from a floppy.  But before I sorted it out I
have a new problem - when I choose either linux or rescue in LILO it comes
up with:

 "Boot Linux....
  Error 0x02"

It then tries again.

Maybe the floppy is damaged?
I would appreciate any suggestions.
