For the record, I didn't make the (obviously flippant) "1 Tb and up"
comment - I think it was John.

I guess what I meant by a "serious database" is something where the
developer is taking advantage of the relational qualities of the DBMS
(amongst other features) to provide a comprehensive and robust system
which represents a complete solution to a large subsection of their
business requirements (as opposed to something that could be done in a
flat text file or single indexed file.)  Have I been sufficiently vague
there, do you think? ;-)
