I'm just a beginner, but the books that I really have come to love so far on Linux and networking are the O'Reilly "Essential System Administration" (Frisch) and "TCP/IP Network Administration" (Hunt). Those combined with Howto's found on the various Linux web sites have been extremely helpful.

Well it looks as though I'll have to get bit by the Linux/RH bug. After going through the project this week I've come to the conclusion I really need to apply some study in this area. So what book would a network engineer use to learn and practice Linux. I'm particularly interested in the networking and Internet component and a lot about the command set.
I purchased Red Hat Linux Unleased from SAMS, and the CD Red Hat 6.0, I saw in Boffins there is a book on the commands in a reference manual, should I look at this or is this too tough for the early stages.
