[plug] Linux on IBM thinkpad i series notebooks

Has anyone run Linux on a i series note book?? Has anyone used one of
these notebooks??

What works under Linux??

CD/DVD Drive
Modem
Video card with X
IrDA
USB (with 2.3.x??)
The scrolly mouse etc

Any help would be useful
