You will probably find that the data transfer rate is higher on the DAT.  By
'plain SCSI internal tape drives' I am assuming you mean the $500 ish (or
whatever) Travan 4Gb drives, as opposed by the $2000 ish DAT's?  Or do you
mean internal SCSI QIC tape drives?  Or internal SCSI 8mm drives?
