The truth is that the core of the program is "C" (the bit that does 
the socket calls), the actual bit that builds the web pages is 
FORTRAN so that the engineers (who know FORTRAN but not "C") can add 
functionality without bugging me every few minutes...

But still it is good for the old "war stories".
