I have this morning heard (on the 7 am news, 94.5 FM)that the feral
government will be introducing to feral parliament before the end of
this month, draft legislation, to outlaw "lightning strikes",
referring to "wildcat strikes", or, strikes that occur, where a
lengthy process, like obtaining government permission for a strike.

In the context of the Internet Oppression Bill, that means that any
web site that informs people about the conduct of such strikes, and,
any emails that unionists use, to communicate details of such strikes,
will equally be outlawed.

Given that a national strike was called, and, co-ordinated, in France,
a few years ago, using the email facilities f the Internet, what we
now face, is Stalinist oppression, by the canberra bandits.

If the person who posted a message on this mailing list a while ago,
indicating that he worked for a liberal (as in liberally removing
human rights) party representative, or something, sees this message,
then perhaps he could ask his people to explain what happens regarding
such matters.

If the anti-liberal party (given that "liberal" is supposed to refer
to being free") seeks to cause such oppression, then it is committing
human rights violations, and should be taken before the United Nations
Human Rights Commission.

Also, from cnet news, at news.com, I found the following:

The latest in Net law

Lawmakers had their hands full with a number of Internet issues.
The House passed an amendment to the Juvenile Justice Bill to
require schools and libraries to install technology to screen out
material "harmful" to minors as a condition of receiving a federal
Net access subsidy, known as the e-rate. School Net filtering
bills are nothing new, but the recent carnage at the nation's high
schools has intensified concern about minors' online habits.

It appears that the USA congress is kind of following the australian
trend, in Internet censorship.

"Material harmful to minors", must make a person think that "harmful"
depends on the definition of the day, and which definition a
government, or president, decides to impose.

In that, I am reminded of a USA man, named mccarthy, who caused many
people to lose their jobs, for speaking freely, back in the 60's (from
memory), and I am reminded of a man who was so sexually perverted, to
go all out for oral sex, but to shun vaginal sex, and, who said that
that was not a sexual relationship, and there was nothing wrong with
concealing it. And, that person, who kept his job, after doing the
equivalent of cuckolding his wife, did nothing to get reinstated, the
poor air force officer, who lost her job, after having an extramarital
sexual affair.

When those kinds of things happen, and are published in the media,
with the details, and the media promotion of the imperial invasion of
Yugoslavia, it makes a person wonder what human right are left, are
the respective ministries of truth are finished with confusing the
truth, and the governments have turned the people back into serfs
without rights.

Perhaps, if she reads this, Tamara might like to say what she thinks
of Internet censorship being applied in the USA in that way.

Another tuppence ha'penny's worth.
