[plug] SAP: link on Linux plans, what is SAP?

Thanks Gary!

Okay, I'm starting to get the big picture
from what everyone has said. But what's SAP
written in?
Is it really easily portable to Linux?

And other concern:
If IBM and HP try to distribute Linux on their
expensive boxes, well, isn't their take a
hardware take anyway?

Where's the zen of that? :)

I'm trying to figure out who the good guys are
and who the bad guys are.

There's the issue of free source code here.
And quite frankly, if Linux runs beautifully on
cheap hardware, why pay a million bucks for an IBM
box?

The international picture: everyone connected via linux, and American companies want to sell million dollar boxes and hw support contracts to poor countries? huh?

I've already been accused of being a socialist,
so don't bother attacking on that front.
<grin>
So used to being censored by American Corp Gov, I
actually speak freely now. <grin>

SAP also refers to the poor buggers that have to run it!!
