2.0R5 is the latest hamm release from what I remember. Though I only have
hamm still on my 386 gateway :)

Yes I've been using debian since 0.91 (1994 I think) I've been a developer
from time to time and IT hosts ftp.wa.au.debian.org and www.au.debian.org

2.1 was supposed to be release on March 2nd, but some last minute problems
pushed it back to the 9th.

If you want to learn about debian #debian on irc.linux.org.au is pretty
good and so is debian-user and debian-devel mailing lists.

You can read the mailing list archives and join them at www.au.debian.org

I think quite a few people in Perth use Debian. We use it at IT on all
our boxes and on all the boxes we install for clients.

I believe UWA UCS uses it though I'm not sure whether CS does.
