Hello, all.

Chris, I was not aware of the CD's, last night.

Will they be present at the next meeting, in two weeks' time?

Also, what is the latest version of Slackware that is available here? Is the
latest version on the CD's? Does it have the new kernel, that I believe is
2.0?

Does anyone out there know where I can get one or two AMD K6 300's (not
K6-2's), to upgrade from Cyrix 6x86 chips? the only ones I have found so
far, have been with a price of about $200, which is about the same price as
a K6-2 350.

To the man from Mudrock; I was on campus at Mudrock all day yesterday, and
went direct to Fast Eddy's, so missed reading your email. A bit more notice
could have been good..

I am from the deep south (Armadale)... if you want a ride to and from the
next one, let me know... Don't worry, I am slightly more civilised than some
of the locals here..

This is written in Outloook, while it is still alive (for the moment)after a
suicidal Win98 was temporarily resurrected (it crashed, then, on rebooting,
successfully destroyed the registry. It's amazing how difficult it is to try
to send email. Remember, Win98 has no bugs; it is a bug)...
