[plug] UPS's with Linux support

I'm now informed by the writer of the monitoring software for Alpha UPSs
that they beast is actually intelligent, so it *does* talk through Rx, but a
proprietary protocol !

Now it just has to live until the software arrives in 2-3 weeks.

Bugger.
