I have spoken to two high schools south of the river, both basically told
me that they "...have been strongly suggested to use NT so thats what they
will be using"
eg. Willetton SHS (where i attend atm (yr12)) has just under a million $
to spend on computers and associated things (internet/cabelling etc) over
the next 4 years.
They have lots of money but many schools are scared of doing different
from other schools. Applecross High is a good example of a school using
linux for at least some things (`telnet www.axnet.wa.edu.au`)...
Yes, I'd be interested in the contract it it was next year :|
Ah well, there will be others next year.
What school is it for btw?
