[plug] gcc error - now lex error

Thanks Christian.  Neither were installed, but I see flex is there on the
cd.  I only needed to know that flex=lex.

intstall . .
test . .   - flex overcomes the complaint of missing lex . .
now complaint is missing yacc . .
