[plug] Migrating to new HD

Hi.
I want to migrate my RH5.2 system to a new HD. Could somebody
please point me to the best HOWTO or other info to help me get the
migration right first time?

Currently I have a 120M hda1 (/boot) and 500M hdb5 (/) and I'd like to put
them both on the new hda1. Can I simply install the new 1.5G, format,
copy the lot to hdc1 (or whatever), remove the old disks, reconfigure lilo
and that's it? Somehow I doubt it's that simple.

I'd get into searching the docs but I have to go to work. Last night I
just had time to get the download of SO finished while fixing some audio
on a video edit I'm doing on the other box. Time is really tight and I
hope I don't end up panicking over resetting-up the whole linux system
when the HD install goes wrong again :) Any hard info to help me get the
HD install right will be very appreciated.

Regards,
Steve

P.S. Speaking of the other box... it's running w95 because I can't find a
non-linear video editing package for linux. I was trying to fix a glitch
in the audio using Sound Forge when the pointer got stuck in a section of
the window. I couldn't get it out. AltF4 closed soundforge but the
pointer was still stuck in that rectangular section of the screen.
Nothing for it but a three finger salute. (Funny thing: the PII box is
only 8 months old but the Ctrl, Alt and Del keys are looking much more
worn than the others.) ;)
