SCO started as a separate implementor of Unix. Then MS got out of the 
market and SCO bought xenix from MS and (presumably0 merged them.


Unixware I *think* is Novell. Novell had the problem that its software 
wasn't friendly to user's software and I gather it moved towards Unix.
