Try resetting your font sizes in Edit/Preferences/Fonts.   The point size
defaults to 12,  and the result is what you complain of.  Reset this to at
least 16-----it is a trade off between this and truncating your display window.
You can also play about with the actual Fonts which may make for easier
reading. It works for me anyhow,
