May I suggst a couple of books?

Programming Perl

and

Perl Cookbook

Both are published by the O'Reilly Press.

If you can't beg or borrow, and (hopefully) won't steal, I'd recommend
www.cetustech.com.au. I dealt with a guy named Leonard, and the service was
excellent.

They are both $65.00 each, and express post for the 2 is $8 to Perth.. That
took 1 or 2 days from memory.

Beats $89 each at Dymocks etc..

I'm no guru, but have found some great Perl pearls in these..

Garry.

Windows 98: n.
32 bit extensions and a graphical shell for a 16 bit patch to an
8 bit operating system originally coded for a 4 bit microprocessor,
written by a 2 bit company, that can't stand 1 bit of competition.
