I think you maybe able to share them if they are both on the same PCMCIA
port...may depend on whether they are PCIC or cardbus.  I have a combo
PCMCIA on my laptop and they do use the same IRQ I am pretty certain.

Some laptops also allow you to change these in the bios...Worth a look
if it really is your problem.
