Hi All,
	I was wanting to have a read-only mounted filesystem but to be able
to save some small information (last song played in a playlist), preferably
not on floppy as the system will be in a car.  I was thinking of writing to
CMOS or an external NV-RAM on a quick shutdown/power-off.
