hours (not including defragmentation time and surface scan time in 
preparation) using the linux pocketbook.

For linux newbies who are after a copy of linux, i suggest you fork out
$20 and get the APC Linux Pocket book, it contains redhat 6.0 and
openlinux 2.2 as well as a windows emualator, wordperfect 8 and a load
of tools.  It also comes with a begineers guide for those who dont know
linux yet.
