Hmmm, could be useful for those who are just dipping their toes to
test the waters from the comfort of their Win box. It would help the
large group of people who have no idea of where to start to install a
distibution in the normal way.

I reckon anything that expands the use of Linux is generally a good
thing. Hopefully they would like it, get up their confidence, and then
blow away their fat partitions and install from scratch.
