I have one called "mpeg_play".  It does the job admirably, at least for
every mpeg I have tried it on.  Some details:

ldd /usr/local/bin/mpeg_play
        libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6 (0x4001a000)
        libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 (0x40027000)
        libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x400cd000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x400ea000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

As you can see, it is compiled against glibc2.1.  Would you like me to
email you the binary and man page?
