I just discovered the new 'map' feature of Palantir.  I found it
absolutely marvelous.  Have a look at
<URL:http://www.palantir.uio.no/cgi-bin/palantir/nodelist-TNG/main> to
get an overview of the machine room at the computer center at the
University of Oslo, Norway.

If you click on one of the shelfs, you get the list of machines on the
shelf, and if you click on one of these machines, you get the current
and past status on the machine.

Amazing. :-)
