I disagree... your analogy doesn't work.  For example, blondes,
brunettes and redheads all have the same, ahem, features...  Debian has
features that Red Hat doesn't have (and vice versa).  Still, unlike with
relationships you're pretty much free to try the alternatives anytime
you want when it comes to distributions.  Personally after trying Debian
I wouldn't want to use any other distribution (although if they made a
Debian/BSD distro then I might never use Linux again.)
