[plug] rsh

Hi list,
       my machine was fixed at the Monday night
plug meeting (thanks guys). It was 
robertd-ppp.wa.cmis.csiro.au (130.116.67.13)
but if I understand corectly is that name and address
only for a ppp connection and is  gateway (192.168.13.254)
for an ethernet connection.

here is the current /etc/hosts

130.116.67.13           robertd-ppp.wa.cmis.csiro.au robertd-ppp
192.168.13.254          gateway.dunn gateway
192.168.13.1            ns.dunn ns
192.168.13.7            xterm.dunn xterm x term

My problem is that I have some software (Splus) that used a
license manager and expects to be run on robertd-ppp.
Can I can convince Splus  that it is running on the
correct machine?



When I start it i get

gateway>Splus5
License Warning : Server down. Trying " 
rsh robertd-ppp.wa.cmis.csiro.au env SHOME=$SHOME Splus5 LICENSE server start".
License server should be started on robertd-ppp.wa.cmis.csiro.au.
License server not started.
Terminating S Session: License Server robertd-ppp.wa.cmis.csiro.au [S-PLUS]: 
License server is down


rsh is working
