Have you tried ferrites on your power and video cables? -

Subject: [plug] TV interference (otopic)

Hi All

I realise that this is a little off topic, but the only way that I can
truly link it back to Linux is to say that I can get more linux time if
I can solve the problem.

When my computer is on, I get interference on the TV in the way of red
and green diagonal lines. Some points
1) The interference is only on Channel 9 (is this a good or bad thing
;-) )
2) The interference is coming from the box (not modem, screen or
printer)
3) The computer is in the room futherest from the TV
4) There is an aerial port unused in the computer room

Now that that is as clear as mud, can anyone offer anything (other than
condolences) that will solve this problem. If my fiance can watch the
cricket, I can be more productive ;-)

Regards

Darrell Horrocks
