You need to subtract 2 from your result to allow for network number and
broadcast.
Eg (32-30)**2 - 2 = 2 hosts
xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxx00	network
xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxx01	host 1
xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxx10	host 2
xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxx11	broadcast

Subnet mask is correct.

	The subnet you described can accommodate (32-30)**2=4 hosts
	Not sure about the subnet mask.
