Im sure the support is there..
I will do a kernel  recompile though..just to make sure..
I ve installed redhat a few times and it has always been there when doing an
"everything" install..

I have recently installed a parallel printer on a box running redhat 6.1
without a problem. Have you recompiled the kernel? Make sure you include
parallel support.
