So did I. The KDE developers had said that 2.0 would see the removal of
all code for which they had not recieved permission to link to Qt.
Unfortunately, it seems they are unable (unwilling?) to meet that
deadline, and hence produce a product that can be legally licensed. I'd be
very surprised if the combined resources of Suse and Caldera could not
replace the unlicensed code within a couple of months, so I am forced to
conclude that neither they, nor Troll Tech, nor the general KDE developer
community have any respect for the ideals of Free Software (or their
customers whom they leave liable to legal action.)
