Perhaps a very brief summary (three, four lines for example) with a 
relevant url for follow-up would be acceptable, especially if written in 
the first person.  If the relevance or significance to the Linux community 
is mentioned, this would allow the posting to be taken in context.    As an 
example:

"Joe Bloggs Company and I have been awarded a contract to blah, blah, 
blah.  This is significant for the Linux community because reason, reason, 
reason.  Please visit [url] for more details."
