In NT their are domains, which is a group of resources that trust each
other (user accounts, computers accounts etc). If you have two domains,
then you can establish a trust between them too.

e.g.

Domain A: User Bob authenticated.

Domain B: trusts Domain A, therefore User Bob can use Domain B
resources.

It gets confusing since there are "Trusted Domains" and "Trusting
Domains" which allow us to have one way or two way trusts, so the terms
are specific on which way you are viewing the trust.

BTW,

I have fixed the problem now. My M$ WINS database was corrupted and did
not have an valid entry for Brisbane. I was barking up the complete
wrong tree, but thanks to all on the list for their help.
